With the advance in technology and the higher demand in living standard, many things have changed over the years or even decades. But one thing for sure, with all the advancements, the improvement really cant be felt through our ladies high heels. It seems to be as forever painful to wear a pair of heels now and 8 years back.

My toes are forever cramped up at the front. "Then wear a lower heel", I bet many guys would say that. But if you really take a closer look at the posture in difference between a higher and low heels, the presentation wise, I personally feel that the higher heels help to project a better presentation or image, at least for the short me.

"Then wear slippers/sneakers/lower heels for walking and change to a higher ones when you are back in office", that's another suggestion many might have. But then again, I face 2 problems. One is that all my pants are altered to cater to higher heels, so if I were to wear slippers/sneaker/lower heels to work, surely on the way to work, I would be dragging two loose ends of the pants and soaking up water and sticking up all the dirt and dust on work. That's not a very nice idea. Sometimes I really can't believe that I am so short. Whenever I have my pants alter, the 2 extra ends of the pants is enough to make the 3/4 sleeves of shirts.

Another problem, which is not a real problem, is just that I am plain lazy. I like to travel light, carrying an extra pair of footwear is exactly light. Human with tons of excuses.

Please someone invent new better technology to save the poor overworked toes from the wearing of those beautiful heels.
